romy in Claude and ChatGPT
Add romy to your assistant as a custom connector, then ask for a makeover in the chat. It uses your romy account and your romy credits.

- Open Customize → Connectors, then + Add → Add custom connector.
- Name it romy, paste the address above, and click Continue.
- Keep the sign-in settings Claude finds, click Continue, then Add.
- Click Connect and sign in to romy.
Works on every Claude plan; the Free plan holds one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner first adds romy under Organization settings → Connectors, then you click Connect. Claude's help
In ChatGPT
For now romy works in ChatGPT through developer mode only.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click + → Add custom MCP server.
- Paste the address above, choose OAuth, and click Create as a plugin.
- Sign in to romy.
Which ChatGPT plans have developer mode is up to OpenAI. OpenAI's help
What to ask
- “What rooms do I have in romy?”
- “Show me the bedroom.”
- “Make over the living room: warm, calm, lots of wood.”
- “Make the lamp brass.”
- “How many romy credits do I have?”
A makeover or an edit uses your romy credits, the same as in the app; looking at rooms and makeovers is free. Rooms and their photos are added in the romy app or on romy.app.
Your privacy
What you write in the chat, and what romy shows there (makeovers, and a room's photo when you ask to see it), also go to Claude or ChatGPT, under their own terms. romy never asks you to put a room photo in the chat. Privacy policy
New to romy?
Signing in from Claude or ChatGPT creates your romy account, with free credits to start. To stop, remove romy from your assistant's connectors.
